Nichifutsu Shoji was founded in 1969 in Kobe to meet the demand for raw materials, machines, and know-how needed to make French breads including baguette.

Our head office is located in Kobe.
We also have branch offices in Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Sapporo, and a subsidiary in Paris.

Products

We offer a wide range of food products
mainly made in France : raw materials
as well as finished or semi-finished products
for professional bakeries, pastry shops,
restaurants, hotels, and cafés.
Our range of machines consists of ovens, kneaders,
enrobers, food depositors, water jet cutter, etc.
We also distribute wine, mineral water, and grape juice selected
and sourced directly from French producers.

We strive to build strong brand image for our suppliers and work in collaboration
with them to be fully appreciated by Japanese professionals.

Our network of wholesale customers enables us to cover all over
Japan and to respond quickly to requests from our users.

Import
and Warehouse

As for all new products, our import department and subsidiary in Paris verifiy import authorizations, develop documents required by Japanese laws and regulations, and control logistics from the suppliers' warehouses to Nichifutsu warehouse.

We accommodate the three temperature ranges of room, refrigerated, and frozen at our warehouse in Kobe.
When merchandise arrives, the products are controlled and labeled if necessary.

Chocolate bonbon

By making use of our sales experience accumulated over many years
regarding chocolates and relevant equipments in the sector,
we established in 2013 our own chocolate bonbon factory in Kobe.

New
products

We are constantly looking for new products on behalf of
our clients at international trade fairs, in press releases for professionals, etc.
We test and taste new products selected every month
to explore their potentials in bringing benefits to the Japanese market.

Technical
support

Our over 10 bakers and pâtissiers working at our R&D labs located in Kobe and Tokyo ensure that know-how for the optimal use of the ingredients and machines we market is offered to our clients.
In order to provide quick solutions to product inquiries from clients, we run sample tests at our R&D labs.
We organize demonstrations on a regular basis deploying French chefs in our labs or at desired locations.

Application

In order to increase our proximity to our clients, we have developped our mobile application,

INTERNATIONAL

Founded in 1989, our subsidiary in Paris specializes in communication in French,
in local time as mediator between our European suppliers and European customers on the one hand,
and our Japanese team on the other hand, and is in charge of sourcing, purchasing, logistics, and quality control.

Vignoble Haute Couture

In the center of the Pays de la Loire, we make our own natural wine
while respecting the environment, the terroir (soil and water), and especially the culture of vines.
Since 2018, we're always committed to being vignerons to transmit
an authentic taste of wine to everyone.
